As X10 becomes available to our shared customers, you'll notice a few changes in our API to account for the new vehicle. This article enumerates the changes you can expect so you can make sure your integration is ready to support X10 at launch.

X10 Changes

Skydio X10 serial numbers will begin with SkydioX10-

Skydio X10 captures higher resolution images, new types of images (Digital Negatives and Radiometric JPEGs), and an increased number of images per shutter click (up to 4 depending on which gimbal is installed on the drone).

API Changes

Updates to existing endpoints:

/vehicles & /vehicle/{serial}:

• New vehicle_class: Skydio X10
• New vehicle_type: X10

/media & /media/{id}:

• New kind: vehicleImageDng, vehicleImageRjpeg

/scan/{id}:

• New files.kind:vehicleImageDng, vehicleImageRjpeg
